Fall is my favorite season. There’s something invigorating about the way the air cools off, and the sights and smells of the changing leaves always makes me feel a little more alert. (Plus, I love everything apple spice. I have a shameful amount of candles.)

I don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but Autumn is usually when I start taking stock of my year. What did I do well, and what do I need to work on? What can I do now to make 2019 even better?

2018 was a good year for me. I gained new clients, and new responsibilities with my old ones. I learned a lot about running a business and staying on top of deadlines (something I was always good at, but that I had to get better at as my workload grew). I learned how to better value my time, and I’ve gotten better clients because of it.

But there’s always room for improvement! As I get that extra burst of Autumn energy, I want to use it to start making positive change in my life, especially in regards to my physical health. I’m not the best at eating healthy (ramen noodles are cheap and easy when you’re in a time crunch!), and my exercise routine is … well, pretty much (read: completely) non-existent.

I know that my work and focus would improve if I started better habits now, so these are the things I plan on focusing on as the year draws to a close.
